Murfatlar 9
The inscription M 9 was engraved on the south wall of church B1 and consists of 12 signs. A facsimile of the inscription was first published by Barnea (Barnea, I. 1962). In Beshevliev the inscription is under number 22 (Beshevliev, V. 1977). Popkonstantinov suggests that it is possible that M 9 and the Cyrillic inscription above it form a bilingual (Popkonstantinov K. 1993). Tryjarski reads the inscription as Xiponymos Lokike (Gotike). Attempts to decipher it were made by Dobrev and Voynikov.
